Mr. Newman: A kindhearted Science teacher who thinks
learning shouldn't be a chore... it should be fun. Bubbly
and forgetful, Newman is one of the only adults in the
school that doesn't wear a trademark scowl. He's looked
down on by most of the other teachers.
Mr. Hark:Cruel, totalitarian, and
closed-minded. A dangerous man to cross. Seems to be
cahoots with Miss Smith. Hates Dan almost as much as she
does. He used to be one of Mr. Spahn's closest advisors.
Mr. Parker: The evil librarian. For some reason he hates
Boffy enough to come after him with an ax occasionally.
But despite being a stickler to the rules and hateful
towards cute, talking animals, he gets very distressed in
the face of authority.
Mrs. Forbes: The school guidance counseler. She seems to
have split personalities, but no one knows for sure.
Sickeningly sweet one moment, horribly loud the next. (Can
you imagine what Mr. Forbes' life must be like?)
Miss Kinzie: The former remedial English teacher. Kinzie's
class was one of Dan's few safe havens in the school.
Kinzie is supportive and a little eccentric. Sticking up
for Dan and his friends cost her her job, and landed her
in jail.
Mrs. Slobb: She runs the school cafeteria. A lousy cook, a
mean and angry woman, overall not a nice person. And she
smells bad. She seems to think roadkill, aliens, and
crushed people make for good eatin'. She's widely
believed to be the cause of the toxic pool behind the
school.
Nuts: A very strange hermit who lives in the haunted
woods. Not much is known about him, except that he's
delusional and friendly. He knows all the trees by name
and can speak their language. The moon frightens him, and
he's highly suspicious of squirrels. His best friend is a
rabbit named Steve.
Ash's Mom: So far she
doesn't have a name. She's nice to everyone, and Toby
thinks she's hot. She seems a bit delusional, like her
son. She gave Boffy a bath once, landing her in the role
of one of his enemies.
Future Jeremy: A version
of Jeremy that lives in the future. He runs JeremyCo, and
apparently made a lot of money at whatever undisclosed
service or product he provides. Future Jeremy is just
like Jeremy, only calmer.
Walter Casey Zimmerman III: A reporter that Joe found to help bring down
Spahn. He's always grinning like a snake, which makes him
seem extremely untrustworthy.
